We had such an enjoyable Sunday Lunch at the Carriage House Inn and restaurant. The interior is warm and cozy. We loved the piano music and the pianist was so nice! Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic! A big stand out to us was the delicious soups. The Cream of Crab and French Onion were among the best we’ve had- I can see why they have larger portions available to go! The meals were delicious and the portions were large. We can’t wait to return again when we’re passing through the town!

We stopped in for an early dinner after spending the day touring the local shrines. The food was excellent, one of the best cuts of prime rib I've had in some time. My wife had the stuffed shrimp which was delicious. We also split a crab cake, all meat no fill and on point. Our server was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend and will repeat.
It was a very quaint brunch. Charming interior. A very attentive server. My wife had the avocado toast, and I had the fish and chips. Both were very good, but I will say, it was some of the best fish and chips I have had in a very long time. The fish was lightly breaded and not fishy. (My wife even liked it)
Picked up a carry-out Thanksgiving dinner on 11/27/25. The people were great, very friendly even though the restaurant was crowded. Parking was non-existent & there was no signage indicating where to go for carry-out pickup. The food was good, the turkey & gravy was excellent though it didn't seem carved fresh off the bird. The mashed potatoes & green beans tasted like they'd been warmed up from frozen, and would've been better skipped & prepared at home. But again, the five people with whom I interacted (two at the door & three at the bar) were incredibly friendly and made the pick-up a nice experience.
Wedding Review Carriage House Inn was incredible from start to finish! From our very first tasting, we knew they were the ones — the food was outstanding then, and it was the exact same quality (if not better!) on our wedding day. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! Every passed hors d’oeuvre was banging — the BBQ-wrapped scallops, coconut shrimp, spinach-stuffed mushrooms, chicken and waffles, and meatballs were all perfection. For dinner, we had the drunken salmon, Parmesan-crusted chicken, and mashed potatoes with vegetables — everything was flavorful, hot, and perfectly cooked. Kristy from Carriage House is one of the nicest, most genuine people we’ve met. She was so friendly and attentive throughout the entire process. One detail our guests loved was how efficient cocktail hour was — drinks were pre-made, so there were no lines! Everyone could just grab a signature drink, a glass of wine, or order a mixed drink. The Carriage House team even let us provide our own cocktail recipes and taste-test them before the big day, which was such a fun and personal touch. The team even made sure the entire wedding party had an assortment of hors d’oeuvres while taking photos after the ceremony while guests were in cocktail hour. The entire Carriage House wedding team went above and beyond. Everything ran smoothly, the food was amazing, and the service was top-tier. We are from out of state and catered an off-site rehearsal dinner for the future bride and groom at the Battlefield Bed and Breakfast in Gettysburg. I can confidently say that we made the right choice by going with The Carriage House Inn, as recommended by the B&B. Kristy at The Carriage House was exceptional. She expertly guided us through every detail and was always easily accessible online and by phone. We met in person just two weeks before the wedding, and Kristy impressed us with her patience, professionalism, and extensive knowledge. Our dinner, hosted for over 50 guests, was nothing short of spectacular. The BBQ braised brisket received rave reviews, along with the other delectable selections. The family-style desserts, including cannoli, cheesecakes, and petite fours, were a hit as well. We were especially pleased that our vegan guests were thrilled with the grilled cauliflower chimichurri and the thoughtful dessert options provided for them. The wait staff also delivered outstanding service throughout the evening. I can wholeheartedly recommend Kristy and The Carriage House Inn—they exceeded all of our expectations!
My son and his lifelong childhood friend/sweetheart, got married this past Friday. They were so busy planning the wedding, the rehearsal dinner for 30 people slipped through the cracks, so about 3 weeks before the big day, I was asked to step in and plan it. I was in scramble mode until Kristy from the Carriage House Inn responded to my email. Within a couple of hours, we had the whole event planned out. Kristy was amazing to work with. Communication was easy and fast. She was patient in answering all my questions and in waiting for input from my son and his fiancee so we could finalize plans. She went out of her way to make planning as stress free as possible for me. The night of the event was just as amazing. We were in the Tack Room, which was beautiful and charming. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone raved about it. The staff was friendly, very helpful, and went above and beyond to help us with anything that we needed. And the price was extremely reasonable. I will absolutely be recommending The Carriage House Inn to our circle of friends and family in the future. Thank you to Kristy and the rest of the staff that helped make the evening before our son's wedding as perfect as we'd hoped!
